Our 7 games today gave us 32 goals and vital wins for AFC Whyteleafe, Staplehurst Monarchs, Larkfield & New Hythe, Croydon, Snodland Town, Lewisham Borough and Tooting Bec.

Lewisham Borough’s 5-0 success at SC Thamesmead extended their unbeaten run to 8 games, and with 6 of those wins, they are now closing in on a surprise play-off place.

Snodland Town remain at the top of the table, after they won 3-0 at Forest Hill Park, and it’s Larkfield & New Hythe back in second position, thanks to a last minute Jack West winner at Bridon Ropes. Tooting Bec strengthened their own play-off hopes with a 2-1 win against promotion rivals Faversham Strike Force

Staplehurst Monarchs and Croydon put distance between themselves and the relegation places when each picking up 3 points today. Monarchs won at basement boys Bermondsey while David Green was inspired against his namesakes by netting a hat-trick for the Trams at home to Greenways.

AFC Whyteleafe were the top scorers of the the day, with Gaspar Mico’s early double setting them on the way to a 5-2 win against Meridian VP.
