SCEFL AGM – 19th June 2025

The SCEFL AGM took place on Thursday 19th June 2025 at Cray Valley Football Club.

Here is a summary of events;

  • Minutes of the Annual General Meetings held on Monday 10th June 2024 were confirmed.
  • Premier Division constitution confirmed for 25/26: Bearsted, Chislehurst Glebe, Corinthian, Erith and Belvedere, Faversham
    Strike Force, Fisher, Hollands & Blair, Holmesdale, Hythe Town, Kennington, Larkfield & New Hythe, Phoenix Sports, Punjab United, Rusthall, Snodland Town, Stansfeld, Sutton Athletic, Tunbridge Wells, Whitstable Town.
  • First Division constitution confirmed for 25/26: AFC Greenwich Borough, Banstead Athletic, Bridon Ropes, Chessington & Hook
    United, Croydon, FC Elmstead, Greenways, Halls AFC, Lewisham Borough Community, Lordswood AFC, Lydd Town, Rochester United, SE Dons, Sheppey Sports, SC Thamesmead, Staplehurst Monarchs, Tooting Bec, Welling Town.
  • Six Clubs were accepted into the Development League; Ashford United, Erith & Belvedere, Hastings United, Herne Bay, Hythe Town, Welling Town.
  • Clubs voted for the Development League to be split into three regional Divisions.
    East: Ashford United, Deal Town, Faversham Town, Herne Bay, Hythe Town, Lydd Town, Margate, Sheppey United, Whitstable Town.
    Central: Bearsted, Hastings United, Hollands & Blair, Lordswood AFC, Maidstone United, Punjab United, Rusthall, Snodland Town, Staplehurst Monarchs, Tunbridge Wells.
    North: Chislehurst Glebe, Corinthian, Cray Wanderers, Croydon, Erith & Belvedere, Kent United, SC Thamesmead, Stansfeld, Sutton Athletic, Welling Town.
  • The Finance Report was received and approved and A4G LLP approved as the Reporting Accountant for the new season.
  • AFC Greenwich Borough, Banstead Athletic, Chessington & Hook FC, Hythe Town FC and Phoenix Sports FC were each elected into Membership of Southern Counties East Football League Limited.
  • Canterbury City FC, Clapton CFC, Faversham Town, Meridian VP, Soul Tower Hamlets and VCD Athletic were removed from Membership of the Southern Counties East Football League Limited.
  • Board of Directors was elected;

  • Standardised Rules and League Cup Rules accepted for 2025/26. Copies will be sent to Clubs and added to the website shortly.
  • Clapton Community FC thanked the league and it’s member clubs for an enjoyable season with us and made it clear that them leaving was solely due to geographical reasons.
  • A presentation was made by iTrust -They are making their software available to every SCEFL club, helping to improve communication and create a safer environment for everyone. iTrust is about more than just identifying areas that need a bit of attention, but also celebrating the fantastic work that goes on in football clubs – from the dedication of volunteers to the great communities they support.
  • Clubs collected Bibs, Footballs, Ground Passes, Subs Boards and Team Sheets
