Our 7 Premier Division games today gave us 26 goals and wins for Bearsted, Whitstable Town, Holmesdale, Fisher, Glebe and VCD Athletic.
VCD remain at the top of the table following their 2-1 win against Tunbridge Wells. Festos Kamara had given Wells the lead at Oakwood but their hosts came back with goals from Bethel Gboda and Lee Bird and remain at the top of the tree.
It was a 2-1 win for Holmesdale too, and with the 3 points they move up to second place. Freddie Bake put Erith & Belvedere ahead at Oakley Road but second half strikes from Lewis Heywood-Oriogun and Mecca Samuels earned Dale the win.
The third 2-1 win of the day went to Glebe – who also had to come from behind to get their win at Stansfeld. Chris Alhassan put Stansfeld ahead at their new home ground but their former landlords took the win thanks to goals from Jerry Nnamani and Reggie Rye.
The biggest winners of the day were Bearsted, who comfortably beat Kennington 5-0. Connor French and Eniola Hassan each scored doubles for the Bears with Jesse Darko grabbing the other.
Whitstable Town won well too when coming away from Hollands & Blair as 4-2 victors. All of Whitstable’s goals came in the first half and included a Josh Oliver hat-trick, meaning Blair’s second half fightback was too little too late.
Fisher’s climb up the table continued thanks to a 3-0 win at Rusthall. Their trio of goals came late in the second half and were scored by Courtney Barrington, Armani-Jordan Martin and Perez Goumou.
Olu Adegbehingbe and Elias Ahmed got the goals as Snodland Town and Sutton Athletic drew 1-1.
