Four of today’s FA Cup games featured SCEFL sides and we have 4 teams going through to Monday’s draw following an historic day for some of our clubs
There was one all-SCEFL game and it went the way of Corinthian as they beat Punjab United 1-0. Jamie Billings got the goal in the 79th minute advancing the Hoops to the Second Qualifying Round for the first ever time.
Lordswood have also reached that stage for the first time in their history. Binfield took the lead at Martyn Grove but second half goals from Matt Gething and Elliott Duncan (x2) saw the Lords through.
This is Larkfield & New Hythe’s first ever year in the FA Cup and they are making the most of it! Cray Wanderers will feel lucky to have come away from the Eden Estates Stadium with a draw after an impressive display from our side but Anthony Cook levelled up Bryan Zepo’s opener and it’s back to Flamingo Park we go.
Faversham Town will also go again on Tuesday night after a goalless draw at Broadbridge Heath.
