Our full Premier Division fixture list today, gave us wins for Deal Town, Faversham Town, Corinthian, Erith Town, VCD Athletic and Snodland Town, while surprisingly we also had 3 goalless games!
One of those 0-0s was for Glebe at Rusthall but with the point the Foxes still lead the table.
Faversham Town closed in on the top with a convincing 6-1 win against Holmesdale. The Division’s top scorer, Stefan Payne, added two more to his already impressive tally, Sam Hasler also grabbed a brace and Billy Bennett netted alongside Warren Mfula. Faversham are now 2 points behind Glebe.
Deal Town are third, 4 points and 5 games behind the leaders, following today’s 3-0 home victory over Tunbridge Wells. Macauley Murray converted a penalty between two Billy Munday goals to seal the points for Deal in front of 530 spectators at the Charles Ground.
4th-placed Corinthian came from behind to beat Lydd Town 3-1. There wasn’t much to write about until Charlie Dickens gave Lydd a 70th minute lead, yet late replies from Connor Driscoll, Oscar Housego and Jack Billings kept the Hoops impressive run of form flowing.
Despite falling behind early on, Erith Town were 4-2 victors at home to Welling Town. Ollie Milton quickly replied to Jordan Samuel’s opener before a penalty double from James Dyer was added to by Jake Lovell to give the Dockers the win.
Snodland Town and VCD Athletic also saw their hands raised today.
Snodland won 4-0 at Stansfeld, with Francis Babalola scoring twice while VCD Athletic beat Hollands & Blair 3-1 at Oakwood, with Reece Deakin, Bethel Gboda and Richard Jimoh each on target.
Bearsted v Whitstable Town finished 0-0 as did Fisher against Kennington.
