A busy Saturday in our Premier Division saw wins for Bearsted, Corinthian, Lydd Town, Glebe, Stansfeld, Kennington, Lordswood and Snodland Town.
Having parted ways with boss Sammy Moore in midweek, Faversham Town were toppled from top spot.
Stefan Payne gave them a fourth minute lead at home to Tunbridge Wells but the visitors hit back through Trevor McCreadie and Nico Cotton before Connor Essam made it 2-2. Glebe’s 3-0 win at home to Hol- lands & Blair took them top, Jamie Philpot’s brace adding to Rodney Eruotor’s goal.
It was a good day for the morning’s bottom two who both won. Kenning- ton recovered from Dan Gunner’s early penalty to win 2-1 at Sutton Athletic with Ryan Philpott levelling before Harry Linch’s 61st minute winner. Stansfeld dropped to the foot of the table after a shock a 3-1 win at Whit- stable Town, Many Olufeko’s brace and Tommy Whitnell’s strike winning it. Corinthian moved up to third after Charlie Clover, Michael Hagan and Sam Fitzgerald netted to beat Fisher 3-0 win while Bearsted overcame Punjab United 4-1.
Elsewhere, late goals from from Dean Grant and Luke Burdon helped Lydd Town come from behind to beat Erith Town 2-1 and Manny Oshinowo’s 90th minute goal earned Holmesdale a 1-1 draw at home to Deal Town.
There were also 1-0 wins for Lord- swood at home to Welling Town and Snodland Town at home to Rusthall.
