Our 7 First Division fixtures today gave us wins for Canterbury City, Staplehurst Monarchs, FC Elmstead, AFC Whyteleafe, Meridian VP and Bridon Ropes.
With today’s victory at SC Thamesmead, AFC Whyteleafe are now 9 points clear at the top of the table – ahead of Lewisham Borough, who drew today, and Staplehurst Monarchs, who won 2-0 at Croydon.
Bridon Ropes continued their impressive rise, with John Thain netting a penalty winner at Larkfield & New Hythe while FC Elmstead are up to 8th thanks to a 3-1 win at K Sports.
Canterbury City beat Tooting Bec 3-2 and Meridian VP won 4-1 at home to Greenways.
