We had 7 First Division games today, the Top 5 were all in action – and they all earned distanced themselves further from the chasing pack.
Four were winners, with leaders AFC Whyteleafe winning at Meridian VP, Rochester United beating Tooting Bec, Larkfield & New Hythe overcoming FC Elmstead and Staplehurst Monarchs seeing off Forest Hill Park. Lewisham Borough needed a last minute leveller to pick up a point against Canterbury City.
At the other end of the table, SC Thamesmead and Bridon Ropes earned vital wins. Tom Borders and Tod Bamber scored for Thamesmead in their victory at Faversham Strike Force and Cameron Anderson netted late for Ropes at the new basement boys, Greenways.
