The top two in the table were both in action today and with each winning they now have breathing room over the rest of the promotion chasing pack.
AFC Whyteleafe’s win came courtesy of two Aaron Watson goals against Canterbury City while Stanley Oldfield’s early double for Staplehurst Monarchs set them on the way to a 4-1 win over Greenways.
K Sports and Bridon Ropes played out an entertaining 3 -3 draw in the only other game in the Division. A strong Paperboys side led through Simon Gyimaha, Dan Bradshaw and Javaun Splatt but replies from Billy Marsh, Lester Lawrence and Finlay Chambers earned Ropes a deserved point.
