Faversham Town now have a 6 point gap at the top of the table following their win at Kennington and VCD Athletic’s loss at Lydd Town.

Faversham won 3-1 today with goals from Kieron Campbell, Johan Caney-Bryan and Sam Hasler at Homelands while a short trip from there down the A2070 Ryan Smith gave Lydd victory over VCD, a result which moves the Lydders out of the relegation zone.

Rusthall were the biggest winners of the day, with Charlie Clover’s hat-trick helping them to a 5-0 win at home to Sutton Athletic. Jack Lyons got the other two goals for the Rustics, who extend their long unbeaten run and strengthen their play-off hopes.

Another side to increase their hopes of a top five finish were Fisher. An own goal and a Kesna Clarke effort saw them gain a 2-0 win over Snodland Town at St Pauls.

That result drops Snodland into the bottom two where they join a Lordswood side that saw victory today for the first time in 7 games. Tunde Aderonmu and George Miles were on target for the Lords in a 2-1 success against Glebe.

With the exception of a goalless game between Bearsted and Erith & Belvedere the rest of the matches produced plenty of goals.

Tunbridge Wells against Larkfield & New Hythe finished 3-3, Holmesdale beat Corinthian 4-2 and a late Ian Draycott goal gave Hollands & Blair a 3-2 win at home to Stansfeld.
