Saturday 3rd September
Stansfeld are the new leaders of the Premier Division following their 4th win in 6 games this season.
Canterbury City were their latest victims with goals from Ollie Milton, Aiden Hayes and Rob Hughes secouring a 3-1 home victory.
It was that same scoreline at the new-look Belmont Stadium – but it was not the homecoming that Whitstable Town were hoping for.
Whitstable Town started well on the debut of the 3G surface, scoring first through Matt Gething, but Welling Town responded quickly and prolifically and were deserving of their 3-1 win. Ryan Styles, Liam Spellward and Sam Bailey got the goals for the 9th placed visitors.
The biggest scorers of the day were Hollands & Blair, who beat K Sports 7-1, Deal Town came back from a half-time deficit to overcome Lordswood 4-1 and Erith & Belvedere still hold a 100% winning record after Ben Wilson’s winner in a 2-1 victory at Bearsted.
The other 2 games each finished 1-1, with Holmesdale returning from Punjab United with a point and Kola Salami equalising in the last minute against Glebe for Sutton Athletic.
