The stand out result in the Division was clearly Croydon’s 8-0 home win against Meridian VP.

Joedon Gugas-Cowin (x2), Tom Barton (x3), Kameiko Pope-Campbell, Richesse Mivoki and Kanan Fitton got the goals for the Trams, who strengthen their play-off hopes and put Meridian one further loss away from a confirmed finish at the bottom of the table.

Sheppey Sports beat Clapton Community 5-1 and as a result close in on a top five place. Kevin Dance’s double for Sheppey was added to by Corey Spencer, Jordan Tingley and George Acland – all following an early opener by Noah Adejokun.

Faversham Strike Force came from behind to beat Bridon Ropes and in doing so closed the gap to leaders Forest Hill Park to 5 points. Bridon led at the break thanks to a goal from Paris Jackson but second half efforts from Marshall Wratten and Kane Taylor kept Faversham’s title dreams alive.

There were 2-1 wins for FC Elmstead and Staplehurst Monarchs. Daniel Kommu and Jamie Fearn got the goals for Elmstead at home to Soul Tower Hamlets while Phil Headley and Sam Wheeler scored for Staplehurst at Lewisham Borough.

Rochester United won the Rede Court Road derby with Jack Nelson netting twice against Greenways, Gergo Petrovics scored a last minute penalty to earn Halls AFC a 1-1 draw against SC Thamesmead and the game between the in-form pairing of Tooting Bec and Forest Hill Park finished goalless.
