Canterbury City are now 6 points clear at the top of the table following their 2-0 victory at Halls AFC.

City, who have played 6 more games than their closest rivals in the table Forest Hill Park, got their win thanks to goals from Mo Cham and Rob Lawrence.

Tooting Bec were the biggest winners of the day as they returned from Greenways as 5-1 victors. Ethan Lampard scored a double for Bec with Ben Robinson, Kai Udondem and Joe Martin adding the others.

Bridon Ropes moved into the play-off places thanks to a point earned at Sheppey Sports. David Ajao and George Batten were on target for Sheppey in the 2-2 draw but with goals from Pat Ward and Omar Ouhaibi the points were shared.

It also finished 2-2 in South East London, where Lewisham Borough were denied victory by a late Meridian VP comeback. Jordan Samuel and Rio Campbell put Borough ahead but late replies from Joshua Fill and Stefan Dixon shared the spoils.

There was another late show at the Old Spotted Dog, where Clapton Community earned a stoppage time win against Rochester United. The Spartans took the lead through Tom Webb but Julian Austin’s brace at the death meant Clapton leap over their opponents up to 7th place in the table.

The game between Faversham Strike Force and FC Elmstead finished goalless.
