Rusthall are in seventh heaven tonight following their stunning comeback win at home to Punjab United.
Their visitors led 3-0 with 10 minutes to play but late goals from Yassin Fares, Charlie Clover and Kalani Barton (x2) sealed an unlikely 3 points, giving the Rustics their 7th league win in a row and leaving them 7th in the table.
Larkfield & New Hythe and Whitstable Town each picked up comfortable 4-0 home wins. Harvey Welford scored all 4 in Larkfield’s win over Stansfeld while Ronald Sithole netted a hat-trick in Whitstable’s victory over Tunbridge Wells.
Fisher are back up to second place after winning 2-0 at home to Bearsted. Manager AJ Ashanike received his Manager of the Month Award for January just before the game and he would have been proud of his teams performance against a team fighting for their survival in this Division. Goals from Kesna Clarke and Courtney Barrington earned the points.
Hollands & Blair were the only side in the bottom half of the table to win today as they moved clear of the relegation zone with victory over struggling Lydd Town. Joe Thomas, Murisiku Batula and Devonte West were all on target for Blair, who now sit in 15th place.
Elsewhere, Hugo Taylor nabbed a last minute winner for Corinthian at Lordswood and leaders Faversham Town were held to a goalless draw at Glebe.
