The Premier Division table has a new leader tonight after another dramatic Saturday across the South East.
Sutton Athletic are top of the pile after edging a five-goal thriller 3-2 against Phoenix Sports. Conor Evans finished off a slick team move to open the scoring, before Reggie Rye and Taylor Fisher struck with fine finishes to seal the points against a Phoenix side still searching for rhythm on their return to the Division.
Kennington slipped from the summit after a 1-0 defeat at Larkfield & New Hythe. Debutant Kesna Clarke struck deep into stoppage time to hand the Larks their first league win of the campaign.
Faversham Strike Force continue to defy the odds, moving into third place thanks to a narrow 1-0 win at Hythe Town. Ali Wren provided the decisive moment as the surprise package of the season marches on.
There was late drama at Bearsted, where Snodland Town pulled off a remarkable turnaround. Trailing into stoppage time, goals from Harry Hudson and Alvin Turyatemba earned Snodland a stunning 2-1 victory.
Rusthall picked up their first league win of the season, beating Erith & Belvedere 3-1 at Jockey Farm. Louis Clark stole the show with a superb hat-trick to lift the Rustics off the bottom.
At Foxbury, the spoils were shared as Fisher and Chislehurst Glebe drew 1-1. Jamie Philpott put Glebe ahead from the spot, but Rafael Garcia levelled before the interval.
There was no shortage of goals at Oakley Road, where Holmesdale ran riot in a 6-2 win over Stansfeld. Lewis Heywood-Oriogun grabbed a hat-trick, Alfie Clarke added a brace, and Nathaniel Murray also found the net, while Stansfeld’s Sam Plant struck twice late on.
Tunbridge Wells made a statement with a 4-1 win at Punjab United. D’Armando Lawrence hit a superb hat-trick to fire Wells into fifth place, while Punjab remain winless and stuck in the bottom two.
At the foot of the table, Corinthian now occupy last place following a 2-1 home defeat to Hollands & Blair. The Hoops led through Ross Obazee, but goals from Josh Oliver and Charlie Weston completed Blair’s comeback.
