The First Division table tightened up after another busy Saturday, with movement across the top six and plenty of drama at both ends.
SE Dons remain at the summit, though their perfect record ended in a 1-1 draw at Tooting Bec. Dan Farrow gave Bec an early lead before Temi Alaka equalised, ensuring the Dons stay unbeaten and on 13 points from five games.
Just behind them, AFC Greenwich Borough climbed into second place with a 4-2 win at Halls AFC. Oghosa Williams bagged a brace, supported by goals from Elliott Carey and Reece Deakin, after Ryan Golding had twice struck for the hosts. Borough now sit just two points off top spot.
Rochester United are right on their heels after a 3-1 win at Bridon Ropes. Goals from Mack Reilly, Lucas Payne, and Jack Nelson secured the points, keeping the Spartans on maximum points from their four games played.
Greenways also boast a 100% record after four games, edging Chessington & Hook United 1-0 thanks to a dramatic stoppage-time penalty from Timmy Babington.
Staplehurst Monarchs round out the top five after overturning a deficit to beat Welling Town 3-1. Oliver Lankshear equalised from the spot before Ollie Ruler and Logan Wallace sealed victory.
Lordswood AFC also made a statement, winning 4-2 away at Banstead Athletic. Harvey Welford and Ethan Stewart netted, alongside Tom Davey’s brace, to lift the Lords up into sixth with 11 points from five matches.
Croydon were big winners too, leaving Lydd Town with a 4-1 triumph. Jack White, Cameron Macmillan, Tommy Friend, and Red Jenkins all found the net to keep the Trams pushing the early top seven.
Elsewhere, Sheppey Sports and SC Thamesmead played out a goalless draw in the division’s only stalemate.
At the bottom, Lewisham Borough remain without a point after four games, with Chessington & Hook and Sheppey Sports just above them still waiting for a first victory.
