The Title Race took an interesting turn today with the top two teams both dropping points and their two nearest rivals both picking up wins.

It is now 4 league games without victory for leaders Forest Hill Park, after Bridon Ropes held them to a 1-1 draw while Faversham Strike Force were made to share the points with Sheppey Sports following an entertaining 3-3 draw at Salters Lane.

That let Soul Tower Hamlets and Croydon close the gap to the top, which they did with wins against Tooting Bec and Halls AFC respectively.

The number of teams still in the hunt for a play-off place has shrunk after today’s results but still includes FC Elmstead, who won 2-0 at Canterbury City, and Clapton Community, who beat Welling Town 3-1.

Meridian VP left it late in the season but are now celebrating their first league win of the campaign after goals from Shane Johnson and Rami Hallouffi helped them to a 2-1 victory at home to Staplehurst Monarchs.

SC Thamesmead v Rochester United and Greenways against Lewisham Borough both finished goalless.
