VCD athletic have extended Faversham Town’s wait to be crowned champions by another few days after ending Rusthall’s long unbeaten run with a 2-0 victory at Oakwood.

An own goal and Rajan Sahni effort gave VCD the win which also handed Rusthall their first defeat of 2025.

A Kesna Clarke goal at Sutton Athletic strengthened Fisher’s play-off hopes and now they are just one further win away from a confirmed top 5 finish.

At the other end of the table Lordswood are now on the brink of relegation after a late Kennington fightback resulted in a 2-2 draw at Martyn’s Grove but Snodland Town moved above the drop zone thanks to Stanley Oldfield’s goal at home to Bearsted.

A draw for Hollands & Blair at Corinthian ensured their Step 5 survival and Stansfeld’s 2-1 win against Tunbridge Wells means that they now need just one point from their final two games to confirm their Premier Division return next year.

Danny Lear’s early penalty gave 7th-placed Erith & Belvedere a single goal victory at home to Glebe.
