All 4 goals at Cobdown came in a hectic first 20 minutes and with Staplehurst Monarchs scoring 3 of them, they ran out as winners over Greenways.
Thanks to an Own Goal plus Luke Adams and Ted Rosetti strikes, Staplehurst raced into the lead. The hosts pulled one back through Logan Thomson and surprisingly that was the end of the scoring with the game finishing 3-1.
It was win number one of the season for Welling Town as they edged out groundsharers Halls AFC 2-1.
