VCD Athletic remain at the top of the table following their 4-0 win against Glebe at Oakwood. The game finished far after the scheduled time due to a bad injury to one of the visiting players but the Vickers were not to be denied this key win, given to them by two Ollie Freeman goals plus late efforts from Charlie Heatley and Liam Gillies.
Faversham Town were 3-0 winners at home to Sutton Athletic. Ben Gorham, Johan Caney-Bryan and Sam Hasler got the goals for Faversham, who are keeping the pressure on VCD at the top of the table.
Rusthall kept their incredible form going by gaining a 1-0 win against Stansfeld at Jockey Farm. Kalani Barton got their goal and now unbeaten in 14 league games the Rustics are one of 3 play-off placed teams on 54 points.
Punjab United are one of those sides on 54 points following their 2-1 win over Lydd Town. All 3 goals came in the first half starting with Roman Campbell’s early effort from the spot. Jerson Dos Santos levelled but Jack Hopkins got what was to be the winner just before the break.
Whitstable Town kept their own play-off hopes alive with a narrow victory at Erith & Belvedere. Harvey Smith got the only goal of the game late in the day in Welling, with the Oystermen looking to have an exciting end to the season ahead of them.
Bearsted’s fine form and rise up the table continued with a 3-2 win at home to Corinthian. Jesse Darko, Robbie Roberts and Nathan Light got the now 13th-placed Bears goals while Lorenzo Duncan and Jack Billings were on target for the Hoops.
Holmesdale came from 3-1 down to beat Larkfield & New Hythe 4-3 at the Eden Estates Stadium. When Kieron McCann put the hosts 3-1 up on the hour mark it was looking likely that the points would stay in mid-Kent but a late Sam Bayford double gave Dale an unlikely win.
The big game at the bottom end of the table went to Snodland Town’s way after they moved 6 points ahead of Lordswood with a 3-0 win. Kayden Turner-Bernard, Sonny Jackson and Stanley Oldfield got the goals for Snodland, who have now ended a 9-game run in the league without victory.
Hollands & Blair moved themselves further away from danger with a 3-0 win at Tunbridge Wells. The home fans of waited a long time to see some action at the Culverden but were left disappointed as goals from Josh Brooker, Tom Walmsley and Ian Draycott gave Blair the 3 points.
