Today’s full Premier Division fixture list gave us 39 goals, 0 draws and large crowds – and by the end of it the top 3 in the table have opened up a gap ahead of the chasing pack.

That is because there were rare defeats for Erith Town, Deal Town and Erith & Belvedere – while Glebe, Sheppey United and Chatham Town were once again winners.

The Chats were the top scorers of the day, hitting 7 against Lordswood, with Jack Evans, Dan Bradshaw and Andy Pugh each grabbing a brace.

Jamie Philpot also netted twice as he made it an incredible 21 League goals in Glebe‘s 16 games –  he got half of the Foxes 4 at home to Canterbury City today.

Sheppey United were 4-0 winners too as a Malachi Hudson hat-trick kept the Ites unbeaten league season going strong whereas Erith & Belvedere have now lost to the top 3 sides in the Division in the past week.

Crowborough Athletic continue their stealthy climb up the table with the 3 points earned today at Erith Town now putting them into 9th.

Rhys Bartlett netted in either half for The Crows in a 3-2 win and they have have now collected an impressive 13 points from a possible 15.

Holmesdale are in 6th place in the table after a 2-0 home victory over Punjab United.

Both goals came around the midpoint of the second half at Oakley Road, with Nathan Palmer scoring from the spot and Owen Punselie wrapping the game up soon after.

There was a crowd of 670 at Jockey Farm today taking in the local derby between Rusthall and Tunbridge Wells.

Goals and entertainment were at a premium though with Ashley Sheppard’s 72nd minute winner proving to be the highlight of dull encounter.

No Lockyer, no problem, as Kennington ran out 3-1 winners at home to Tower Hamlets today.

Gary Clarke, Liam Middleton and Tom Penfold all stepped up to take over scoring responsibilities from their talisman striker who this week joined Ashford United.

Fisher returned from Cobdown with all 3 points with Christian Udo notching twice and Joseph Adewunmi also finding the net in a 3-2 success against K Sports.

Bearsted were the other victors today, as they comfortably saw off Welling Town 3-0 in Otham.
