First Division – 13th November
The London Senior Trophy reduced us to just 5 League games today but there was no lacking of entertainment, and certainly no lack of goals.
8 were scored at on the South East coast as Lydd Town drew 4-4 with Faversham Strike Force.
Tom Barton, Dale Horton and Bradley Baker x2 were all on target for the hosts while Faversham’s 4 scorers were Ali Wren, Tom Axford, Radi Davidov and Sam Brown.
Sutton Athletic and Kent Football United were both 3-2 winners, with The Sutts behind twice at Staplehurst Monarchs before winning and George Harris netting a last minute decider for KFU at home to Greenways.
It was also a tight game at Rede Court Road, where Rochester United hosted local rivals Snodland Town.
The visitors went away with the points though with Dan Ashton and Ted Hodges both scoring in a 2-1 win.
Stansfeld now have a 5 point gap on the rest of the Division after they returned from Westside as 3-1 victors.
Rob Hughes, Casey Killilea and Jack Carthy all scored for the leaders, who have now won 11 of their 15 games played this league season so far.
