AFC Greenwich Borough’s fine start to life in the SCEFL continued as a narrow 1-0 win at FC Elmstead lifted them to the top of the First Division table. Oghosa Williams struck the decisive goal, taking Borough’s tally to 10 points from a possible 12.

Rochester United and Greenways both maintained their perfect records, making it three wins from three apiece. Rochester struck early through Mack Reilly and Jack Nelson to see off Lydd Town, while goals from Timmy Babington and Aston Freeman secured the Greens a 2-0 victory at Halls AFC.

Tooting Bec produced one of the standout performances of the day, stunning Croydon with a 3-0 away win. Sonny Harnett-Balkwill, Nile Waite and Anthony Ogbanufe were all on the scoresheet as Bec climbed into the top half.

Banstead Athletic picked up their first SCEFL points, beating Chessington & Hook 3-1 on the road. Meschac Gedredji, Michael Sosan and Ricky Johnson found the net to push Athletic above their hosts in the standings.

The only draw of the day came at Martyn Grove, where Lordswood and Sheppey Sports shared the spoils. Callum Peck put Sheppey in front before Tom Davey struck late to rescue a draw for the home side.
