Kennington continued their flying start to the 2025/26 campaign, staying top of the Premier Division thanks to a 2-0 win at Hythe Town. Ryan Philpott – already leading the early scoring charts – broke the deadlock just before half-time, with Liam Middleton adding a second to seal Ton’s fourth win from five.

Unbeaten Bearsted climbed into second place with a late turnaround at Hollands & Blair. An own goal 10 minutes from time put the Bears in front, before Jake Embery struck in stoppage time to wrap up the points.

Sutton Athletic enjoyed back-to-back Bank Holiday victories, following up Saturday’s win with a dramatic 2-1 success at Tunbridge Wells. Ollie Farmer gave Sutton the lead before Jack Gallagher looked to have snatched a point for Wells near the end. But James Bayford popped up in the 90th minute to claim the win and lift Sutton into third.

Whitstable Town bounced back from Saturday’s heavy defeat by ending Faversham Strike Force’s unbeaten run. Joe Kay put Strike Force ahead midway through the first half, but Javaun Splatt levelled soon after before Dean Grant struck the decisive blow.

Holmesdale also recovered from a poor weekend showing, impressively dispatching Glebe 4-1 at Oakley Road. Reelwa Lugboso, Callum Keeble, Alfie Clark and Jorden Mbola all got on the scoresheet as Dale surged up to 10th place.

There was no shortage of drama at Phoenix Sports, where they and Erith & Belvedere shared six goals in a pulsating contest. Jerson Dos Santos netted twice and Lyle Della Verde added another for Phoenix, while Ryan Fowler, Tom Borders and an own goal kept the Deres in it. Even a bizarre late red card for the visitors couldn’t stop them taking a point home.

Over 300 spectators watched the derby clash between Larkfield & New Hythe and Snodland Town, but the packed crowd saw little in entertainment with the sides playing out a goalless draw.
