Premier Division

Hollands & Blair 2-0 Crowborough Athletic

Tower Hamlets 2-3 Welling Town

Just the two games on Wednesday night but both were action-packed before ending with wins for Hollands & Blair and Welling Town.

Things looked bad for Blair early on with an injury to their keeper causing an outfield player to take the gloves before they were reduced to ten men while still in the first half.

Crowborough did not take advantage though and the hosts made them pay.

Goals from Joe Kane and Sam Welch won the game for Blair getting them off and running with their first points of the season.

Welling Town conceded in the opening 20 seconds at Tower Hamlets but came back well, taking a 3-2 win to make it 6 points out of a possible 6.

Bruno Gomes nabbed the early goal for Hamlets before the Boots equalised through Ryan Golding then took the lead when Ollie Bennett scored from close range.

Golding then saw a goal wiped out for a foul and had a penalty denied in an entertaining first half at the Mayplace Ground.

The second half gave us an outstanding equaliser from Hamlets with Denilson Carvalho winding his way through the Welling defence before calmly slotting home.

Welling were not to be denied victory though and Ryan Golding reacted quickest to poke home from close range to give his side another win on the road.
