There were 8 games and 8 winners in the Premier Division tonight with Glebe, Corinthian, Fisher, Faversham Town, Punjab United, Bearsted, Deal Town and Rusthall all picking up 3 points.
Glebe are the only unbeaten team in the Division and remain at the top of the table following their 2-1 win against Holmesdale at Foxbury.
Malachi Morris opened the scoring in the 23rd minute when scoring directly from a corner and Jamie Philpot doubled their lead from the spot in the second half. Theo Mackenzie pulled one back for the visitors late on causing a tense finish but Glebe held on and their good start to the campaign continues.
Corinthian were the biggest winners of the night, with Charlie Clover claiming a hat-trick in a 4-0 victory over Welling Town and Faversham Town made it 5 wins in a row as Stefan Payne got the winner against Kennington.
Thomas Ngegba, Manny Shoderu, Conor Darwish and Eni Amgbaduba got the goals for Fisher as they saw off Erith Town 4-2 and Reece Deakin continued his fine goalscoring form for Rusthall, with the Rustics coming from behind to beat VCD Athletic 3-1.
Bearsted are closing in on a play-off place thanks to Will Johnson-Cole’s double against Snodland Town, while Punjab United own one of those top five spots after their 2-1 home victory over Tunbridge Wells.
Deal Town’s rise up the table continues and they are now in the top half thanks to their 3-1 win at Hollands & Blair.
Billy Munday, Ben Chapman and Elliott Moore got the goals for the Hoops, who are now unbeaten in their last 5 games following a slow start to the season.
