Bearsted returned to the top of the Premier Division with a narrow 1-0 win over Hythe Town, courtesy of Jake Embery’s first-half penalty. It’s now three straight victories for the Bears, who set the pace in a fiercely competitive title race.

Whitstable Town climbed to second after a thumping 5-1 triumph at Snodland Town. Joe Healy was the star of the show with a first-half hat-trick, while Javaun Splatt and Bradley Walledge added further goals after the break. Snodland played most of the match with ten men following Justin Lee’s early red card, with Emmanuel Shoderu grabbing their lone reply.

Unbeaten Rusthall moved into third after a late Dan Blunn strike secured a 1-0 win over Phoenix Sports. The Rustics left it late but continue their excellent run as the only side yet to taste defeat this season.

Punjab United were also in fine form, claiming a 4-0 away victory at Tunbridge Wells. Anthony Adesite, Jack Hopkins x2 and George Monger each found the net as Punjab produced their most impressive win of the campaign.

Faversham Strike Force showed great character to come from behind and beat Hollands & Blair 2-1. Callum Flynn gave the visitors the lead, but second-half goals from Harry Taylor and Marshall Wratten turned the game around for Strike Force.

Corinthian finally enjoyed a home win in the league, coming from behind to beat Fisher 3-1. Lorenzo Duncan struck early for the visitors, but goals from Caleb Afoke, Jamie Billings and Ross Obazee completed the turnaround for the Hoops at Gay Dawn Farm.

Another dramatic night in the SCEFL Premier Division — and the top of the table is looking tighter than ever.
