SCEFL officials make it to showpiece Cup Final

 

Congratulations go to both Kirsty Dowle & Louise Saunders who were appointed to the FA Women’s Continental Tyres League Cup final held last Sunday at Selhurst Park.

Both were previously match officials on the league and it was pleasing to see that we did get a mention in the matchday programme. It was great to receive the following acknowledgement and thanks from Louise.

“Never did I think when I was operating on your leagues I would walk out at Old Trafford in front of 30,000 people, operate internationally and on an FA appointed domestic cup final just this season alone.

“It’s important to me that I always remember where I come from and I thought you might like this write up in today’s programme. There was a record crowd at Selhurst Park and I hope the next generation take up the whistle.

“Thank you all for you support over the years.”
