Today’s 8 Premier Division games gave us 8 winners as Glebe, Erith Town, Snodland Town, Punjab United, Whitstable Town, Kennington, Lordwood and Bearsted all picked up 3 points.
Glebe’s 2-1 win at Hollands & Blair puts them 2 points clear at the top of the table.
It was a game of penalties at Star Meadow, with Ali Fofanah giving the visitors the lead from 12 yards before Harry Brown levelled with his own spot kick. Jamie Philpot came off the bench to earn Glebe the win with a last minute converted penalty.
Erith Town were the biggest winners of the day after they hit Welling Town for six at the Mayplace Ground. Ollie Milton and James Miles hit doubles for the now second-placed Dockers, with Harry Taylor and Henry Arnold also on target.
Snodland Town are up into the play-offs following their 3-0 home win over Sutton Athletic. It only took one minute for Matt Gething to give Snodland the lead, Jack Bath added a second and Jeff Duah-Kessie completed the scoring with ten minutes to play.
Punjab United and Whitstable Town each closed in on play-off places after home wins today. Cruis Nyadzayo netted a late double as Punjab beat Lydd Town 3-1 and the Josh double of Oliver and Williams both scored as Whitstable came from behind to beat VCD Athletic.
Kennington picked up their first win of the league season with a 3-0 victory against Stansfeld. Ryan Philpot, Mo Cham and Fin Det got the goals for ‘Ton’ who are now just one point away from getting off the bottom of the table.
Bearsted and Lordswood both picked up single goal successes. Kevin Stevens presided over his 400th Bears game, and got the win over Corinthian while James Jeffrey was once again on target for the Lords, as they beat Fisher 1-0.

Deal Town v Rusthall and Tunbridge Wells against Faversham Town were both postponed due to Waterlogged pitches.
