Lydd Town 3-4 Holmesdale

Tunbridge Wells 2-2 Glebe

 

With the FA Cup taking centre stage today we had just 2 Premier Division games today but between them they provided plenty of entertainment!

Holmesdale picked up their first win of the season with a stunning 4-3 victory at Lydd Town.

Lydd seemed to be heading for the 3 points themselves but when they were reduced to 9 men late on Holmesdale seized their chance and late goals from Jack Church and Lewis Heywood-Oriogun earned Dale the win.

Tunbridge Wells also scored late, with Jack Gallagher’s 94th minute goal seeing them share the spoils with Glebe at the Culverden Stadium.

Jamie Philpot had helped the visitors to a 2-1 lead at the break following Regan Corke’s opener for Wells but that late leveller means Glebe head for home with a point.
