Following today’s results Forest Hill Park are now level on points with leaders Canterbury City, with the second-placed side having the advantage of 5 games in hand.
Ryan Palmer and Georgi Steeds were on target for Forest Hill at home to Halls AFC while defeat for Canterbury against SC Thamesmead was due to a late Ric Campbell goal.
Croydon and Faversham Strike Force each strengthened their play-off positions with 4-1 victories. All of Faversham’s goals came in the second half at Welling Town while Joedon Gugas-Cowin hit a double in Croydon’s home win over Soul Tower Hamlets.
Rochester United and Clapton Community both kept their promotion hopes intact following home wins. Jack Nelson and Hicham Akhazzan each found the net as Rochester beat Lewisham Borough while Fred Taylor scored from the spot for Clapton against Meridian VP.
