Faversham Strike Force have been crowned Champions following an epic afternoon in the the First Division.

Faversham had to come from behind to beat SC Thamesmead and hold off Soul Tower Hamlets, who finished second following their own 2-1 win. at Bridon Ropes.

The other title contenders, Forest Hill Park and Croydon, both drew 1-1 in their games with over 1,400 turning out for Forest Hill’s stalemate with Clapton Community.

Antonio Gonnella’s team will now host his former side Croydon in the play-offs while Soul will face a Sheppey Sports side that beat FC Elmstead 4-1 today.

Meridian VP ended a tough season on a high, by beating Greenways 1-0 and Staplehurst Monarchs edged into the top half thanks to a 2-1 win against Halls AFC.

Rochester United and Lewisham Borough were both 3-0 victors, with Rochester seeing off welling Town and Lewisham overcoming Tooting Bec.
