Premier Division – Saturday 14th August
By our usual standards today was a fairly low scoring day in the Premier Division with just 18 goals coming from the 8 games played.
4 of them came at Park View Road, with 3 scored by Benga Ogunseye for Erith & Belvedere, as the hosts beat K Sports 3-1 to continue with their 100% winning record in the league.
Tunbridge Wells also scored 3 as they were impressive winners against Deal Town. Harry Hudson, Jordan Wells and Miles Cornwell were all on target for Wells as they added a win to their loss and draw.
Kennington have now collected the full set of results on offer too, after winning today away at Holmesdale. Tom Scorer and Gary Lockyer both netted for the Ton while Rory Ward replied for the beaten hosts.
Chatham Town won the hard way after going behind to a Jordan Ababio opener for Bearsted. With half an hour left to play Jon Pilbeam equalised for the Chats with Dan Bradshaw scoring the winner late in the game.
3 games ended 1-0. Rusthall picked up their first points by beating Tower Hamlets, Erith Town won at Crowborough Athletic, and Ashley Sains scored as Sheppey United edged out Fisher.
That just leaves the drawn game which only finished that way when Enock Soganile claimed a last minute leveller to deny Hollands & Blair the 3 points.
