Bridon Ropes 1-2 Forest Hill Park

 

Forest Hill Park booked a place in the London Cup Final after a narrow 2-1 win over SCEFL Division One rivals Bridon Ropes.

Bridon started the brighter with a few half chances before Alvin Turyatemba gave Forest Hill the lead after 19 minutes.

Just before the stroke of half time Leon Thomas doubled the visitors lead with a well worked goal.

The rain then came down strong in the second half and the game opened up.

A penalty from Jack Kensington halved the deficit with 30 mins to go and both sides had further chances but the game finished 2-1 to Forest Hill who will now face the winner of FC Elmstead and AFC Cubo in the Final.
