First Division – 12th March
Despite it being a busy day in the First Division, the only side in the top 8 to win were Larkfield & New Hythe – a statistic that hugely increases their play-off chances.
Larkfield were 2-1 winners at Forest Hill Park, with Jake Beecroft and Jack Nelson scoring after they had fallen behind to their hosts not long before the half time break.
League leaders Sutton Athletic were held to an entertaining 4-4 draw by Lydd Town today.
Bradley Baker scored a hat-trick for Lydd, who were on the verge of losing the game until Ryan Smith popped up with a last-gasp leveller.
Stansfeld and Snodland Town also shared the spoils in their top of the table clash.
After a goalless first half Adam Hooper gave Snodland the lead before Rob Curtis equalised in the 88th minute.
Westside were 2-0 winners at home to Staplehurst Monarchs and Lewisham Borough won at Croydon, while Chessington & Hook kept their survival dreams alive by beating Meridian VP 2-1.
Greenways made it back-to-back victories when coming out best in a 5-goal classic with Rochester United at Cobdown.
Levi Gold scored the first and last goals of the game for the visitors but sandwiched in-between were finishes from Jake Lovell, Simon Walton and Farai Maganga for the Greens.
At Rede Court Road, Faversham Strike Force v SC Thamesmead finished 1-1 with Harry Lawrence cancelling out Tom Barton’s opener for the hosts.
