The action got underway early this Bank Holiday Monday with Rusthall v Crowborough Athletic providing many people with the first of a two-part Groundhop in this area of West Kent.

Crowborough responded best to the morning start and won the game 2-0 thanks to goals in either half from Rhys Bartlett

Part Two came from the Culverden Stadium where Tunbridge Wells beat Welling Town 3-0.

Miles Cornwell and Kyron Lightfoot both scored in the first half with an own goal wrapping up a convincing win for the hosts.

Sheppey United sit at the top of the table tonight after Ben Wilson scored the only goal of the game at Hollands & Blair.

Erith Town are 4th after they also picked up a 1-0 victory, with in-form Dan Palfrey finding the target against Holmesdale.

Goals just before and after the break from Dan Bradshaw helped Chatham Town to a 3-0 win at home to K Sports.

Fisher beat Tower Hamlets 2-0, Christian Udo scored a brace and Deal Town were 3-0 winners at Canterbury City – Billy Munday, Connor Coyne and Sam Wilson all netted – as both victors moved well inside the top half of the table.

Liam Middleton hit a last minute free-kick to see Kennington nick a point at Bearsted and it was also honours even between Lordswood and Punjab United, with the visitors scoring first and last at Martyn Grove.

It was Lordswood’s first point of the season, but they remain at the base of the table.
