Erith Town have been promoted to the Isthmian League following a penalty shoot-out win against Corinthian.

A late Harry Taylor finish cancelled out Michael Hagan’s opener which took us to penalties where some heroics from Dockers keeper Mackenzie Foley earned his side their chance at Step 4 for the first time in their history.

Semi-Final Recap

Corinthian were penalty shoot out winners at Faversham Town while Erith Town came from behind to win at Glebe.

Faversham had taken an early lead against the Hoops, who quickly responded through Michael Hagan. Connor Essam put Faversham ahead once more but Dean Naylor’s leveller sent the game to penalties from where Corinthian won 4-1.

At Foxbury a Jamie Philpot cross was bundled home by Nathan Mampono in the 16th minute. – a Glebe lead which remained until half-time thanks to some fine saves from Nathan Edwards. In the second half Erith through all they had at the glebe defence and eventually broke it twice to win the game, firstly through Tom Ash and then from Harry Taylor.
