Gary Alexander steps down from Glebe hotseat

Gary Alexander has stepped down from his role as First Team Manager at Glebe.

Alexander has been in charge of the Premier Division Club for 2 seasons, both which were ended short by the Covid pandemic.

“It’s with a heavy heart I have decided to step away from Glebe after a difficult 2 yrs and personal issues” Alexander announced.

“I’ve opted to take a break and spend time with my family. I have made friends for life and will most certainly be a visitor on a regular basis thanks to everyone”

A Glebe Statement said:

“Gary Alexander has today resigned from his position as first-team manager.

“Gary wishes to take some time away from day-to-day management for personal reasons – and the club fully respects that decision.

“We would like to thank Gary for his total professionalism and hard work during his time with us.

“He will always be welcome back to Foxbury and we wish him every success in the future.”

The Club now look to find a replacement, with the new season due to get under way on 31st July.
