Fjord Rogers, Harvey Brown and Harry Taylor got the goals for the Spartans in their 3-2 success at Lower Road.
AFC Whyteleafe maintained their 100% winning start to the campaign thanks to Taurean Roberts late decider at Tooting Bec and Faversham Strikeforce narrowly saw off Larkfield & New Hythe, with Ali Adam netting a 66th minute winner.
The Catford El Classico went the way of Lewisham Borough in a tightly fought contest at the Ladywell Arena.
Darrell Thompson volleyed Borough ahead before Baciro Baco levelled in the final minute of the first half. Then with the game looking likely to finish even, Bryan Zepo scored a screamer and Lewisham had earned the local bragging rights as well as a vital 3 points.
Croydon were the clearest winners of the night as they racked up a 5-0 scoreline at Bridon Ropes.
Uli Fischer, Lauris Chin, Harvey Morton, Tayler Maddock and Jordan Samuel all scored for The Trams in what was their first win of the new league season so far.
