Company Overview: We are an FA 3* Accredited football club with a rich history and a strong commitment to excellence. Just 40 years old and located in South-East London, our club boasts its own club house along with playing facilities (Grass and 3G) and a dedicated team of coaches and players. Our aim is to become a leading force in the regional football scene, fostering talent, and providing an exceptional sporting experience for our community.

Position: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Salary: £40-45K Commensurate with qualifications and experience
Role Overview: As the CEO of our football club, you will play a pivotal role in leading the organisation towards success. You will be responsible for implementing the club’s strategic vision, managing day-to-day operations, driving growth, and elevating our brand both on and off the field. The successful candidate will work closely with the board of directors and key stakeholders to create a culture of excellence and to ensure the clubs financial sustainability.

Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a compelling long-term vision for the club, setting ambitious goals to establish a strong competitive presence and secure the clubs position as a regional football powerhouse.
2. Financial Management: Oversee the club’s financial health, including budgeting, revenue generation, and cost management. Identify potential revenue streams, sponsorships, and partnerships to support the club’s growth.
3. Operations Management: Provide effective leadership to the club’s staff and coaching team, fostering a positive and high-performance culture. Oversee the day-to-day operations and facilities management.
4. Community Engagement: Act as the face of the club and build strong relationships with fans, sponsors, local authorities, and football governing bodies. Enhance the club’s visibility within the community through engagement events and outreach programs.
5. Player Development: Collaborate with the coaching staff to promote player development and talent identification.
6. Marketing and Branding: Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote the club’s brand, attract new fans, and increase attendance at matches. Leverage digital media and other platforms to enhance the club’s online presence.
7. Compliance: Ensure the club adheres to all relevant football regulations, ensuring fair play and integrity are upheld.

Requirements:
Proven experience in a leadership role, preferably within the sports industry or football administration.
Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Strong financial acumen and experience in budget management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A passion for football and a deep understanding of the industry.
Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
