Tuesday night delivered drama across the P&Co. SCEFL Premier Division, with five matches ending 2-1 – four of them in comeback fashion. At the top of the table, Sutton Athletic made the most of the chaos, stretching their lead to three points.
At Salter Road, Fisher struck first through Tom Jones, but Sutton dug in. Ryan Mahall pulled them level before Namory Kane snatched a stoppage-time winner to keep the leaders rolling.
Bearsted are now up to second after overturning an early deficit at Larkfield & New Hythe. Kesna Clark put the hosts ahead, but Sam Stace equalised and Phil Headley’s penalty sealed another 2-1 turnaround.
Tunbridge Wells produced the standout performance of the night, brushing aside Phoenix Sports 4-1 to climb into third. Mo Alaka’s spectacular opener was cancelled out by Lyle Della Verda, but Wells responded in style with goals from Tom Penfold, Rhys Bartlett and D’Armando Lawrence.
Kennington slipped to fourth after a 2-1 defeat at Whitstable Town. Bradley Schaefer and Theo Osin-Folarin gave the Oystermen control, with Ryan Philpott’s late penalty proving only a consolation.
Punjab United finally claimed their first win of the campaign, recovering from Rolex Buiti’s opener for Glebe to edge a 2-1 victory courtesy of Ethan Okechukwu and Jack Hopkins.
Hollands & Blair handed Faversham Strike Force their first loss, James Jeffrey’s late double turning the match after the visitors had gone ahead early through Alex Willis.
Rusthall produced the night’s biggest scoreline, smashing Snodland Town 5-1. They too had to come from behind, before goals from Charlie Clover, James Miles, Louie Clark and a Josh Reed brace sealed a thumping win.
Elsewhere, Erith & Belvedere and Holmesdale could not be separated, their 1-1 draw coming via a pair of penalties.
