A busy night in the Premier Division saw lots of goals and a few surprising results!

There was no surprise at Oakwood though, where VCD Athletic won again to keep their place at the top of the table. Strike duo Bethel Gboda and Ollie Freeman got the goals for VCD in a 2-0 success over Fisher.

Seven of the top 8 teams in the table picked up wins. Faversham Town were comfortable 5-0 victors at Lordswood, while Corinthian edged out Rusthall in a 7-goal thriller at Rusthall. Omotunmise Akanni scored the only goal for Whitstable Town at Kennington, and Jack Walder netted for Tunbridge Wells at Larkfield & New Hythe. Punjab United completed a trio of tonight’s 1-0 victories thanks to Lea Dawson’s goal against Glebe.

Erith & Belvedere look like very much like a Stansfeld of old, and they beat the Stansfeld of new, with Tyler Davis-Whitlock claiming a last minute winner at Park View Road and Sutton Athletic copied that route to victory with Arun Suman finding the net in the dying stages of their game at Holmesdale. That result moves Sutton off the bottom where they are now replaced by Hollands & Blair, who visit Lydd Town this evening.
