Bearsted P-P Sutton Athletic

Faversham Town 8-1 Lydd Town

Whitstable Town 2-3 Hollands & Blair

Tuesday’s night’s two games produced 14 goals and plenty of drama, plus wins for Faversham Town and Hollands & Blair.

Faversham are now 5 points clear at the top of the table following their 8-1 win at home to Lydd Town. The visitors were reduced to 10 men early on in an incident that led to the hosts keeper leaving the field and being replaced in goal by midfielder Jarred Trespaderne. That change did the leaders no harm though and with a Danny Parish hat-trick and goals from Tashi-Jay Kwayie, Bradley Simms, Johan Caney-Bryan, Ian Draycott and Daniel Thompson, Faversham picked up another comfortable 3 points.

The match at the Belmont was far closer and went the way of Hollands & Blair thanks to a dramatic late turnaround. Will Thomas and Harvey Smith had given Whitstable Town a 2-goal lead but a late Thomas Ngegba double and an injury time winner from Devonte West saw Blair take an unlikely win.

Bearsted v Sutton Athletic was postponed due to a frozen pitch.
