Tower Hamlets are still looking for their first SCEFL win after Erith & Belvedere gave them a 5-1 hiding at The Mayplace Ground.

Drew Allasani opened the scoring when reacting quickest to a Rob Curtis downward header from a corner, in the 4th minute.

Hamlets were level though 20 minutes later when Wale Odedoyin poked home after Rob O’Hara mishandled a cross from the wing.

Ollie Bate swept home a fine move soon after to put the visitors ahead and their task was made easier when George Elliot received his second yellow card of the game just before the break.

The hosts would be fortunate to end the game with as many as 10 on the field.

Substitute Benga Ogunseye got a Deres 3rd from the spot before claiming the goal of the game when lobbing home a wonderful 4th.

Ollie Bate completed the rout late on giving Erith & Belvedere a comfortable 3 points and a share of the top spot.

Tower Hamlets will need to improve their discipline if they are going to achieve their debut win.
