The Run In – Premier Division

We have reached the business end of the 2024/25 season, the final few weeks, soon it will be all over and we will know the promoted and relegated sides from the SCFEL Premier Division.

Here we take a closer look at the current situation and what is left to play for, at both ends of the table.

PROMOTION

The Champions will be promoted alongside the winners of the play-offs – a 4 team end-of-season straight knockout competition between the sides that finish in 2,3,4 and 5th place.

Faversham Town have now been confirmed as our Premier Division Champions and as a result will be promoted to Step 4.

The winner of the play-offs will join them and that will be either VCD Athletic, Whitstable Town, Fisher, Punjab United or Rusthall.

Currently, 68 points will guarantee a place in the Play-Offs. and VCD and Whitstable have already reached that mark and will be hosting their semi-finals. Fisher are as good as confirmed too leaving a straight fight-out between Punjab United and Rusthall for that final spot.

RELEGATION

The two sides finishing in the bottom two places of the table will be relegated to Step 6

There is still plenty to play for at the bottom end of the table with up to 5 teams in the running to finish in the relegation zone.

Lordswood were confirmed as relegated last week Thursday night while Stansfeld and Kennington need just to draw their final game to reach the current confirmed safety mark of 39 points.
