Staplehurst Monarchs updates ahead of their 2023/24 First Division Season


We are delighted to welcome back to the club, Dan Ashton!
His energy, stamina and versatility will make him a key player for us.

Retained! Max Juniper!
The technically gifted, pacy midfielder stays with us for his second season.

Our former captain, the industrious midfielder Ted Rosetti, returns to the club after a successful spell at Snodland Town.

We are delighted to have David Latunde with us again this season.
His workrate combined with grit and determination offers versatility across the pitch.

We are thrilled to announce our new U23 manager is… Gary Jeffrey!
A former player for both Staplehurst Monarchs Youth and Senior section, Gary has a wealth of experience and a successful background in management.
Welcome back Gary!

We are delighted that Ben Ashdown will be joining our First Team coaching staff. Ben has experience as both a player and manager and will be a great addition to the club!

Retained Player – Toby Sargeant!
A talented youngster, wingback Toby progressed from our u23s development side to be a regular in our first team.

New Signing! Adam Hooper!
A centreback, a leader, a winner! Hoops brings a wealth of experience to our back line.

Retained Player – James West!
A true reader of the game and ‘Managers Player Of The Season’. Westy epitomises determination and tenacity in the midfield.

Retained Player! – Harley Gorse!
Harley joined us last season and rapidly became a vital part of the team. We are thrilled he will once again be flying up the wing for the Monarchs!

Retained Player! – George Baker-Moran!
A player with an impressive pedigree, we are delighted that centre-forward George is remaining with us for this season!

Retained Player – The one you have been waiting for! – Brad Large!
The fans and players favourite and last season s top goalscorer, we are delighted that our midfield dynamo Brad will be with us this season.
