Tooting Bec got life in the SCEFL off to a winning start but needed a late goal from Ed Mbango to earn the 3 points. Mbango had earlier got the opener which was then added to soon after by Eli Lewis. The second half saw Snodland Town stage a comeback, as Lee Friend and Brad Webb both scored but the Tooting Bec forward Mbango had the last word with his late winner.
