Snodland Town announce Jessup as new Manager

Snodland Town have appointed Luke Jessup as their new manager following the departure of Byron Walker.

Walker, who was given his first managerial role by the club, oversaw 24 matches in all competitions, achieving seven wins in that time.

Snodland Town currently sit in the bottom three of the Premier Division, with 17 points from 19 league games (four wins, five draws, and ten losses). They are just one point above the relegation zone, which includes Hollands & Blair (16 points from 20 games) and Lydd Town (12 points from 16 games).

All four teams at the bottom of the table, including Lordswood, have changed managers this season.

In a statement, the club announced Walker’s departure, saying:

“We have parted ways with first team manager Byron Walker.

“We would like to thank him and his management team for all their efforts this season and wish them all the best for the future.

“We are pleased to announce our new first team manager, Luke Jessup, along with his management team Aaron Lacy and Luke Hewitt.”

Jessup most recently managed Hollands & Blair, leaving the Premier Division club in early October, after 31 games in charge.
