Halls AFC – A Brief History
Founded in 1919, Halls AFC has grown into a thriving community football club, providing opportunities for players of all ages across men’s, women’s and youth football. While the club boasts over a century of history, the past few seasons have marked the beginning of an exciting new chapter.
Promotion to the Southern Counties East Football League First Division ahead of the 2024/25 season saw Halls enter the National League System for the first time in the club’s history. The move also brought the club’s debut appearance in the FA Vase, representing another significant milestone in its continued development.
The club’s senior sides are based at Princes Park Stadium, home of Dartford FC, with the first team playing its home fixtures in the main 4,000-capacity stadium. Halls also operates reserve, third, Sunday and junior teams, underlining its commitment to developing football within the local community.
The club adapted well to life at Step 6, comfortably retaining its place with a 15th-place finish in its inaugural campaign before improving to 11th during the 2025/26 season.
Manager George Michaelas remains at the helm for the 2026/27 campaign as Halls AFC continues to establish itself in the Southern Counties East Football League and build on its impressive recent progress.
