SCEFL AGM – 19th June 2021

Our AGM was held remotely on 19th June 2021 

The allocations set by the FA have now been confirmed and pending any appeals have been accepted by the League.

We now officially welcome Chessington & Hook, Tooting Bec, Westside FC, Faversham Strike Force, Staplehurst Monarchs and Larkfield & New Hythe into the Southern Counties East Football League.

We congratulate Corinthian for promotion into the Isthmian South East Division and wish all the best to AFC Croydon, Balham and Beckenham Town, who make the sideways move to the Combined Counties League.

Our Premier Division and First Division will contain 20 teams.

Premier Division Constitution

Bearsted, Canterbury City, Chatham Town, Crowborough Athletic, Deal Town, Erith & Belvedere, Erith Town, Fisher, Glebe, Hollands & Blair, Holmesdale, K Sports, Kennington, Lordswood, Punjab United, Rusthall, Sheppey United, Tower Hamlets, Tunbridge Wells and Welling Town.

First Division Constitution

Bridon Ropes, Chessington & Hook, Croydon, Faversham Strike Force, FC Elmstead, Forest Hill Park, Greenways, Kent Football United, Larkfield & New Hythe, Lewisham Borough (Community), Lydd Town, Meridian VP, Rochester United, Snodland Town, Sporting Club Thamesmead, Stansfeld, Staplehurst Monarchs, Sutton Athletic, Tooting Bec and Westside.

Other Points Arising from the AGM

  • Minutes from the 2020 AGM were accepted
  • A moment of silence was held to remember those that we have lost over the past year
  • The League continues to look for a sponsor in a ‘challenging environment’
  • The Board of Directors were accepted and is unchanged from last season
  • League Officers will remain the same as last season
  • Player Registration is open from 1st July but Whole Game System may not accept additions until 5th July
  • Forms will be sent to all Clubs this week regarding their possible Fixture issues and requests -please reply ASAP
  • The first batch of fixtures will be released ‘shortly after’ the Isthmian League announce theirs – ‘Mid July’
  • FA Competition fixtures are due out on 9th July
  • Concern was stated for the new ULEZ rules for South London. We will look further into how it affects us and our teams
  • We will get back to clubs with supply details for equipment (Balls and bibs etc)
  • There will be an All Clubs Meeting on 22nd July

Reminder

The season will kick off on 31st July.

The Premier Division will see the Champions promoted to Step 4. Second place will take part in a play off game away at a Step 4 Club that finishes 3rd or 4th from bottom. The winner of the match will play at Step 4, the loser at Step 5 the following season.

The bottom two clubs in the Premier Division will be relegated to Step 6.

The First Division will see it’s Champions promoted to Step 5. Then next 4 Clubs will participate in ‘play offs’ with the overall winner being promoted to Step 5.

The bottom 3 clubs in the First Division will be liable for Relegation.
